Construccion Blanco 1967

This photo, taken in 1967, shows the construction of a building to house what would become the Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter telescope, on the flattened peak of Cerro Tololo. To the right, you can see the SMARTS 1.5-meter telescope, which was installed and saw first light that year.
