November 2022 Total Lunar Eclipse

A time lapse video of the total lunar eclipse over Kitt Peak National Observatory, a Program of NSF’s NOIRLab, on 8 November 2022. The eclipse (seen at 00:24-00:30) occurred when the Moon passed through the northern part of the Earth’s shadow. The footage was captured with the University of Arizona's Spacewatch All-Sky Cam from the Lunar and Planetary Lab on the summit.
