Heidi Hammel at the Global Astrotourism Summit

Heidi Hammel (center), Vice President of Science at AURA, participated as a panelist in the Global Astrotourism Summit held last 6 to 9 September in Vicuña, Chile. Alongside representatives from other international observatories, she spoke about new astronomical discoveries that contribute to tourism development. This large event was sponsored by AURA and NOIRLab.
