SMARTS 1.5-meter Telescope Interior
The interior of the SMARTS 1.5-meter Telescope, one of four telescopes that make up the Small and Moderate Aperture Research Telescope System (SMARTS) Consortium, located at Cerro-Tololo Inter American Observatory (CTIO), a Program of NSF NOIRLab. As of August 2020, it is operated with a single instrument, the high-resolution optical spectrograph CHIRON.
