An artist's concept of the generally accepted and new model of an accretion disk as it might appear around the binary star system WZ Sge. A new concept using new data from Kitt Peak National Observatory and the Spitzer Space Telescope includes an asymmetric outer disk of dark matter, which can be seen in this image gallery image.
