Two sample PHOENIX spectra of red giant star
Two sample PHOENIX spectra of the red giant star 2.3256 in the Large Magellanic Cloud (K = 12.0 mag). The spectra were obtained with the widest (0."35) slit, resulting in a spectral resolution of R = 50,000. Some of the stronger spectral lines are identified. The strengths of the lines are used to derive the abundances of the corresponding elements and other physical properties of the stars.
