Hertzsprung-Russell (H-R) diagram

Hertzsprung-Russell (H-R) diagram for previously know late-type objects in star forming region Chamaeleon I (from Luhman 2004) and the new member OTS 44 (black triangle in lower right of diagram). The solid lines are models of late-objects (very low mass stars and brown dwarfs) of different mass (dotted lines) in solar mass, and of different ages (solid) line in millions of years. OTS 44 correspond to a mass of about 0.015 M_sun.
