Artist's conceptualization of a white and brown dwarfs

From a not too distant perspective, as seen in this artist's conceptualization, the white dwarf and brown dwarf pair would present an unusual spectacle: a small Earth-size hot blue star orbited by a much larger, few Jupiter-sized, very red brown dwarf.
