Optical and near-infrared spectra of five z ~ 6 quasars of the Jiang et al. sample
Optical and near-infrared spectra of five z ~ 6 quasars of the Jiang et al. sample. The spectra at wavelengths greater than 1.0 micron were obtained with GNIRS at Gemini South. The spectra at < 1.0 micron are from the quasar discovery papers (see paper by Jiang et al. for references). The blue solid lines are the best fits to emission lines and the blue dashed line is the best fits to the power-law continuum and Fe II emission. The red lines are the sums of all the components. A low-redshift composite spectrum is shown in gray for comparison.
