GMOS South spectrum of the highest redshift quasar known at z = 6.43
GMOS South spectrum of the highest redshift quasar known at z = 6.43. The wavelength interval between the Lyman alpha peak and the point at which the flux drops to zero at ~8950Å gives the size of the quasar proximity zone.
