GNIRS on Gemini North
The Gemini Near-Infrared Spectrograph (GNIRS, at right) shown mounted on the Gemini North telescope on Maunakea in Hawai‘i. This instrument become available again at Gemini North for regular science use after an accidental overheating that required a rebuilding of the instrument.
