This image was obtained with the wide-field view of the Mosaic camera on the Mayall 4-meter telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory. IC 1805 is an open cluster of stars embedded in a giant emission nebula that is informally known as the Heart Nebula. Only the inner portion of the nebula is visible in this image. The image was generated with observations in B (blue), I (orange) and Hydrogen-Alpha (red) filters. In this image, North is up, East is to the left.
