Astronomers at the National Observatory Continue to Watch SN 2014J

Image of SN 2014J taken through an infrared filter which passes only light with a wavelength between 1150 to 1350 nm, at the Mayall 4-meter telescope. The galaxy M82 in which this supernova exploded is particularly dusty, which reddens the light passing through it.
