ComCam Arrives in Tucson

The LSST Commissioning Camera (ComCam) arrived at the LSST Project Office in Tucson on June 20th, after being shipped from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where it was constructed. ComCam is a small version of the full LSST Camera that will be used for testing and integration of the LSST camera, telescope, site infrastructure, and data management systems. In Tucson, ComCam will receive additional components and undergo testing before being shipped to Chile later this year.
