TMA Arrives in Coquimbo

On September 7, 2019, the ship carrying the LSST Telescope Mount Assembly (TMA) arrived in Coquimbo. The TMA was manufactured in Spain, and was disassembled into smaller pieces for shipping. Each piece was marine-wrapped to protect it during transport. Now the pieces will be loaded onboard a fleet of transport vehicles which will carry them to the LSST summit facility on Cerro Pachón.
