ETU1

In IR2, technicians prepare to uncouple ETU1 from the bell jar baseplate. During this operation, the ESD shroud will be removed from ETU1, and the transport cart readied to move ETU1 to a test bench for a basic set of functional tests, called aliveness testing. The purpose of aliveness testing is to verify the RTM arrived with the same level of functionality that was recorded prior to shipping.
