Citizen Science Program: The Local Group Cluster Search
The goal of this project is to identify star clusters in the Triangulum galaxy (Messier 33 or M33), the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), and the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) — three galaxies in the Local Group, our galactic neighborhood. We are searching images obtained by the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) on the Hubble Space Telescope and the Dark Energy Camera (DECam) on the Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO).
The project is currently out of data.
