Aerial view of Gemini South

Drone footage showing the observatory dome for Gemini South which is located on Cerro Pachón in Chile. Gemini South is one half of the International Gemini Observatory. The other half, Gemini North, is located on Mauna Kea in Hawaii. These two telescopes collectively have access to the entire sky. Gemini Observatory is operated by NSF's NOIRLab.
