Aerial view of the Gemini South telescope.
Drone footage shows the outside of the Gemini South observing dome on Cerro Pachón in Chile. Gemini South is one half of the International Gemini Observatory, the other half, Gemini North, is located on Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Collectively these two telescopes have access to the entire sky. The International Gemini Observatory is operated by NSF's NOIRLab.
