Aerial view of Gemini South and the SOAR Telescope
A drone flies over Cerro Pachón, in Chile, showing footage of the Gemini South telescope and the SOAR Telescope. Gemini South is one half of the International Gemini Observatory, the other half is a twin telescope located on Mauna Kea in Hawai‘i, together they can access the entire night sky. The International Gemini Observatory is operated by NSF's NOIRLab.
