Babak Tafreshi, First NOIRLab Photo Ambassador

World renowned nightscape photographer, Babak Tafreshi, is a champion of promoting the night sky to the public and showing how we all share the same stars. Babak is NOIRLab's first Photo Ambassador, tasked with photographing NOIRLab's various telescopes every few years to provide new public outreach images that highlight the connection between the Earth and the cosmos.
