WIYN Telescopes at Kitt Peak

High above the Sonoran Desert at Kitt Peak National Observatory (KPNO), the telescopes of the WIYN Consortium gather light from the Universe. On the left side of the frame is the WIYN 0.9-meter Telescope. To its right is the WIYN 3.5-meter Telescope, distinguished by its silver enclosure and its angular dome.
