Night at Cerro Pachón
An astrophotographer enjoys the magnificent night lights above Cerro Pachón. Towering over them is the 4.1-meter SOAR Telescope. Far in the background is the 8-meter Gemini South telescope shining lasers into the night sky as part of its adaptive optics system.
