Found: fastest eclipsing binary, a valuable target for gravitational wave studies
Movie of images of J1539 taken with the Kitt Peak 2.1-meter telescope. The light from the system fades dramatically when the brighter white dwarf is eclipsed by its companion. The sequence has been sped up: in real time the entire sequence takes 6.91 minutes.
